Hi there, my name is Bear! I came to Second Chance because my owner was overwhelmed with other things and no longer had the time to care for me. I'm a very active and friendly guy who loves to play and run around outside. I know how to sit but because I am so young I need to work on my obedience, leash manners, and inappropriate playing. I would fit best into an active household with people that would be willing to work with me on my commands and walk or hike with me often. We are open to the public Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00-3:30, with extended hours on Wednesday and Friday until 7:00pm. The shelter hosts an Open House on Sundays from 12:00-3:00 - we do not do adoptions on Sundays.
We are closed Monday and on major holidays.
