Katie
Katie is a two year old, female German Shepherd who came to Second Chance because she was a stray from Bennington. A sweet and loving girl, Katie is housebroken, leash trained, crate trained and like car rides. She is an active girl, who would benefit from having lots of exercise and playtime. Continued obedience, food guarding training, continued crate training and inappropriate play training would be extremely beneficial for Katie to become fully educated. We recommend a home with children ten years and older. Post adoption training is required for adoption. Katie would do best as an only child. If you are looking for a great friend, then come and meet our pretty, Katie!

Abigail
Abigail is a five year old, female Long Haired Chihuahua who came to Second Chance because her owners lost their housing situation. A timid and sweet girl, Abigail will need a gentle and loving human to take care of her. She is crate trained but will need some reinforcement of her house-manners. We also recommend basic obedience training and extensive socialization with new people and situations. Once Abigail warms up to a person, she is very friendly, affectionate and full of kisses! A quiet home with children ten years and older would be most ideal. Cats are fine and other dogs may be possible upon introduction. Another dog would most likely be beneficial to help Abigail gain confidence. If you are looking for a tender soul to save, then come and meet our dainty, Abigail!

Angus
Angus is a male Labrador Retriever mix who came to Second Chance Animal Center because he was a stray from Pownal, who was not claimed by his original owner. Somewhat fearful, Angus will need to warm up slowly to new people and situations. He is a stunning boy who is very large and powerfully built. He also has a massive voice to go along with his stature, and does he use it! Angus would greatly benefit from a lot of exercise and activity. We advise continued obedience, leash manners and food guarding training, to complete his education. Silly and sweet, Angus would do best in an active home with children fifteen years and older. Cats are fine and other dogs may be possible upon introduction. If you are looking for a big boy to spend a lot of time with, then come and meet our vocal, Angus!

Asia
Asia is a one year old American Bulldog who came to Second Chanced because her owners did not have enough time or enough finances to care for her properly. So big and squishy, Asia is a special girl who needs someone to love and appreciate her. She is a beautiful dog who still does not understand her size! An extremely un-socialized girl during her puppy-hood, Asia will need a lot of training and confidence building to overcome her timidity. Extensive socialization, continued obedience we recommend an adult only home. Cats are fine and other dogs may be possible, even beneficial, upon introduction. If you are looking for a humble baby to love and spoil, then come and meet our exceptional, Asia!

PT
PT is a sweet, male Miniature Pinscher over one year old who came to Second Chance because his owners lost their housing situation. Somewhat timid and shy upon introduction, PT will warm up when he gets to know a person. In fact, he will bond quite well with after the first few introductions, as long as the person is calm and quiet. Zippy and cute, this little fellow has quite a bit of activity in him. He does, however, require basic obedience, reinforcement of housebreaking and continued socialization in order for him to be properly educated. He can be protective of his space to strangers. We recommend a quiet home with children ten years and older. Cats are fine and other dogs may be possible upon introduction. If you are looking for a tiny guy to help overcome his fear, then come and meet our pip, PT!
