If you plan to adopt a cat, kitten, or critter, we strongly encourage you to complete an online adoption application and receive an application approval before you come to the shelter. Though you are not required to make an appointment, it's still best to schedule your visit to better expedite your adoption process. Without an appointment, we process our adoptions on a first-come, first-served basis.
In order to visit with any of our dogs, you must have a pre-approved adoption application on file with Second Chance. Please remember that we keep approved applications for a 6-month period and you may need to submit an updated application.

Participate in our foster-care program by submitting an online application. We are still taking kitten surrenders and will need to find families who can provide daily care. All supplies and medical attention will be supplied by Second Chance!
Go to our Amazon WISH LIST and order some of the kitten supplies we will need to care for our youngest feline charges.
Contribute dry cat and dog food to our community food pantry and/or contribute canned cat and dog food to enrich the lives of the animals in our shelter. We encourage online ordering through Amazon or Chewy.
